This is strange. I am flying along and RC4 tells me I am off my filed route of flight. I look at the RC4 window and see waypoints and headings have been added to my flightplan that were NEVER there. I actually watched the waypoints and headings change.
As a result, I am being told I am off course. I have to get RC4 to see the next real waypoint to stop the nag.
Has anybody else experienced this? Why is this happening.
I'm trying to set FSX up on my laptop, and I can't remember if I've got a copy on my PC or not.

Is there a way to temporarily mute the chatter files if you have them enabled ??? They get in the way when running checklists - but I do like the ambiance they add...
As long as we are talking chatter - has anyone ever put together a good package to add new chatter files ??? LOL - I've been using RC4 since it came out and I know most of them by heart - it would be nice to add some new ones to the mix...

Hi, I reinstalled RC4 on a new computer, sent the key request email from the install program, over 24 hours now and have not received a new key. Someone please help!

i upgraded to windows 10 then tried to load a flightplan and got this error message. is there a fix for this problem

I have the Original-CD RCv4 and i want to know, how to download the RCv4 for FSX.
I have forget how to do this, ist its nessesary ? Or can i make a new Install in FSX with the CD ?

Hi everyone. I'm a longtime user of RC and have a question about vectored approaches, which I use 99% of the time. Occasionally RC does not have me turn to intercept the localizer at the airport until I'm within 5 or 6 miles. By that time I'm way too high to capture the glideslope. Would this be a problem with the default FSX approaches, and if so, does anyone know if this can be changed with a program like Airport Design Editor? Thanks!

Hello Folks, Pilots, simmers, and who ever has used this product.
I must tell you that Radar Contact has given me years of joy.
This piece of software has gotten thru more flights with me than i can ever remember. I never fly without it.
In 2017 This 4.3 software that came out years ago, is today just as powerful as any other ATC out today ;in my humble opinion.
I have tried most of them and they are on the shelf, i keep coming back to RC.
Im not complaining or anything just want to thank JD for his work.
I met Him (or you) once in Washington D.C. at a Sim conferance 12+ years ago, and you were working at that time on RC5.
Just wanted to thank you for your product, and hope you and your family have a great year and many more.

A few times i ask for a key but still i get the same used or invalid key via the automated mail. I installed RC a view times with a valid key they sent me, but this time i want to install the program, the key is invalid or used. What can i do to resolve this problem?

I've hit a wall with a problem I'm having getting RC to work properly with FSX. I keep getting a 'run-time error 75 : RadarContact.fsuipc.rcv4code' when I click for clearance delivery once I've started RC. I have up until this point had no problem running RC on my computer which has a Windows 10 OS and Kaspersky Antivirus software. Disclaimer: I noticed this issue last night when I was playing FSX for the first time in 9-10 months. I'm not aware of any major changes made to my computer since then that could interfere with RC, which, as I mentioned has never given me a problem before. To troubleshoot, I ran RC as an administrator and then checked Kaspersky settings to make sure RC was listed as a trusted application, which it was. Those two things didn't work. I then uninstalled RC and reinstalled it and ran the program in FSX. At first, the clearance delivery went through and I thought the issue was solved. I closed out of RC and proceeded with my pre-flight setup. When I went to restart RC, I received the same error notice. I'm not sure what to do or what's preventing the program from operating correctly. Another disclaimer: my computer was upgraded to the Windows 10 OS from windows 7 OS. I can't remember if the upgrade occurred since I last played FSX but that could be a factor. Thanks in advance for your help in this matter.

Just recently started using "Voice Attack" to control RC4... Wow - seriously breathes new life into this software and makes it much more enjoyable... Voice recognition seems almost perfect these days and it seldom misses a command...
Would anyone have a list of keystrokes used with RC4 (besides the 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0) that we routinely use ???
Wasn't there a command to "repeat last" in case you missed it ???
Then there was "transfer to copilot" ???
Anything else I am missing ???

I've sent innumerable emails to the automated address using just as many formats to induce the number generator to email me, all to no avail. Can anyone assist me, its been 24 hrs since purchase and quite honestly ........

I have bought a new version of RC4 and installed as Administrator with virus and firewall disabled. I was able to register with the key I was given and when I try to use the program I get the following message
Class not registered
You need the following file to be installed on your machine
MSSTDFMT.DLL
I am using OS Windows 10 WITH Intel-Core i7-6500 CPU @ 2.5GHz 2.60 GHz. Please advise a solution or provide a new download link.
I am running the program as Administrator.
